The Nelson Street Race is an iconic motorcycle street racing event established in 1988 running successfully and bringing thousands of spectators and racers to the Nelson Tasman region through to 2018.
After a few years absence a dedicated group of volunteers and motorsport enthusiasts are bringing the racing spectacle back to the Streets of Nelson. The Nelson Street Race operates under a not-for-profit incorporated society, with all proceeds dedicated to the growth and investment in the event, safety, and promotion of motorcycle racing in New Zealand.
